A global operator with a huge market presence in Australia is looking to develop several of their key assets and to help them achieve their future growth plans they need to add a proven Development Geologist. Already well established in Australia with several producing onshore and offshore assets their budgetary plans for 2010 are to start development on several massive offshore projects.
As a senior professional you will join a highly technical development team working on multiple development projects. You will be charged with 3D static modeling of operated reservoirs as input into 3D dynamic simulation models, and so clearly you will demonstrate keen technical excellence in Petrel. You will also be responsible for volumetric assessment in the recommendation of field development strategy, including the location of appraisal and development wells to senior management.
As the role is specifically aimed for an experienced Geologist you will have a minimum of 10 years reservoir model building experience working for a well recognized E&P operator. This role will ideally suit a geologist who wants to play an integral part in developing mature and undeveloped basins with a company who invests heavily in the future of its staff.
