Spiradrill Model MHD-90 truck mounted drill rig |
| |
a. Power Unit: John Deere 6068 (tier 3) diesel power unit with approx. 185 hp. coupled to hydraulic pump drive for hydraulic power supply
b. Main Kelly winch: Braden PD15 (18,000#) with controlled freefall. 8.5-ton swivel.
c. Auxiliary winch: Braden PD12 (12,000#) with safety hook.
d. Mast: Tubular constructed and fitted with main and auxiliary winches and rotary table. Complete mast, rotary drive and Kelly travel (crowd) 48" in a specially designed support frame that is coupled to the main frame and allows for positioning of the mast in the drilling position.
e. Kelly: 9.5" x 7.25" x 4.5"x 32' round interlocking Kelly.
f. Hydraulic reservoir: 160-gallon hydraulic oil tank with integrated filters and strainers. Heat exchanger provided to maintain operating temperature.
g. Slide frame: 36" hydraulic operated slide travel frame to include single planetary drive motor and dual brakes for rig rotation. Swing drive includes a deceleration system for optimum control. Nylatron slide plates are used to minimize metal wear.
h. Truck base frame: Rugged base frame to accommodate tandem drive axles with hydraulic pushout style front ourriggers and low profile rear outriggers. Includes rear fenders, clearance lights and mud flaps.
i. Headache rack: Mounted behind truck cap for mast support.
j. Mounting: Unit is mounted on 2009 Kenworth T800. |
