Hover Barge is for sale or Long Term Charter.
She is 45m x 25m built from EH36 steel.
Powered by 4 x CAT3412 Diesel Generators.
These power the Lift Fans, Can also be used for Sire Electricity.

Lifting Payload minimum 200 tons.. 10 tons per Squ. Mtr.
Loads lifted to 6’
ON sea pull by Tug or on Land by Tractor or similar.
There are drive on Ramps
Sleeps 10 in 5 Comfortable Bunkrooms with Galley and Mess.
Well Insulated for Cold weather.

Applications

Can be used to carry heavy loads to and from Ship to shore
and on occasion Has taken loads 110 miles off coast in Abu Dhabi.
Can take Machinery to Oil Rigs, Wind Farms, or on to
marsh lands, Tundra or desert.

Construction: 
 
The Hoverbarge has been designed for simple operation.
You do not need a hovercraft pilot to operate the Hoverbarge.
The crew required to operate the Hoverbarge is as follows:

1 x Barge Master
1 x Assistant Barge Master
1 x Engineer (Diesel Engines)
1 x Electrician
1 x Cook
3 x Deck hands

The Hoverbarge can be towed by tug or tractors. During tests, the force required
to tow the Hoverbarge without a payload was:

2.1 tonnes in water
1 tonne on mud

Accommodation 
 
The Wheelhouse
The wheel house is fully insulated with a lobby and meeting table for comfort.
The windows are heated along with heated wipers to allow good visibility in
the extreme cold. The control panel allows precision adjustment of the fan
to adjust the hover height, along with GPS, electronic compass,
electronic charts, wind speed, VHF radio and PA system.

The Galley
The galley provides all the amenities required for 10 people including a
dishwasher, cooker, microwave, toaster, fryer, coffee machine and fridge.
There is a separate hand wash basin from the main sink. The store room
next door contains a further fridge and two chest freezers.

The Mess Room
The mess room is situated net to the galley, with a dining table,
benches and a sofa area.
