Hoisting Circuit Each winch is driven by a common open loop hydraulic system including piston pump, piston motor and epicycles gearbox. Each winch is fitted with oil immersed, multi-disc and dynamically rated “fail safe” brake. The fixed displacement hoist motors offer a constant operating speed. Slewing Circuit The slew circuit is driven by a common open loop hydraulic system. Dynamic braking of slewing is by means of hydrostatic compensation.
