General Description
This Barge is S.W.L 1,000 ton steel crane barge for the "A"-type boom lifting
system and back tower to be provided at fore end and after end of the barge
respectively as shown on the "General Arrangement" plan.
It is the Builder's responsibility that the Barge is designed, built and outfitted
with machinery and equipment in compliance with all pertinent Rules and
Regulations.
The Builder shall furnish all items required for the completion of the Barge.
It is to be understood that anything not mentioned in the Specifications but
which are usual, or necessary in accordance with best current marine
practice, reasonable requirements of the Owner's supervisor and/or required
by the Classification Society or Regulatory Bodies listed herein, shall be
supplied and/or equipped by the Builder.
If any inconsistency is found among Contract, Specifications and accompanying
plans, the priority of interpretation shall be governed as following order.

General Arrangement
The Barge shall have a complete upper deck. The bow structure shall be made in
a stream-lined form.
The space under upper deck shall be divided 3 longitudinal watertight bulkheads
and 6 transverse watertight bulkheads as shown on the General Arrangement Plan.
From fore end No.1 W.B.T(P/C/S), No.1 Void(p/c/s), No.2 void(p/s),
machinery space(c), F.O.T(in side, p/s), No 3. Void(out side, p/s)
F.W.T(out side (p/s), No.4 void(p/s), No2.W.B.T(p/c/s), No.3 W.B.T (p/c/s).
As will on upper deck arrange at crane boom, boom bed, main winch, aux. winch,
luffing winch, anchor windlass, mooring winch, anchor winch, ladder winch.

The unit is designed for following operating data:
21 m3/min = 740 cfm +/- 5% Nitrogen with 95% purity and a discharge pressure 
of 351 bara = 5000 psi

The unit will be driven by a diesel engine. Screw and piston compressors are directly 
coupled on one shaft-end of the prime mover for a synchronous output. An electric 
Generator is coupled on the second shaft end of the prime mover.

The compressor unit is installed in a container and suitable for heavy duty 
oil/gas-field operation.

The control system of the unit will be fully- automatic for heavy duty operation.

The cooling system consists of three closed separate circuits. The screw-oil is 
cooled with a direct oil/air-heat exchanger. The compressor coolant (water with antifreeze) 
and the diesel-engine coolant (water with antifreeze) are cooled with one common 
coolant/air-heat exchanger each.

The ambient as well as the suction temperature will be in the range of -40°C +35°C. 
The operation of the compressor unit is allowed at temperatures inside the container 
above +2°C.

The unit is completely assembled on common base frame and will be tested under 
full load before shipment ex works.

The unit is designed, manufactured and tested in accordance with valid and applicable 
standards as DIN, VDI, VDE-ÖVE, IEC, ISO and QA-System which has been certified by 
DNV corresponding to ISO 9001.
