Portable Tank Systems are a portable storage unit that incorporates either a single/dual axle tire system and a king pin system that enables to hook up to any standard heavy duty tractor. It includes a set of steel saddles are manually flipped down when in operation and easily get stored in an upright position when being transported.
These Porta-Pacs include a single or dual style bulkhead for both transport/bobtail operations. Bulkheads have tripod breakaway systems incorporated into them to properly shut-off the flow of product in the event of a pull-away. Loading can either be done through self loading when the cargo tank vehicle is set up correctly; trans flow with a use of dual bulkhead sytem from oneside with a bobtail to the otherside where the transport can be; and also with the use of a mobile compressor unit as well. Custom configurations on these portable units are also possible.
